On this webpage you can find numerous resources for working on all skills with primary school pupils. They are fun and attractive activities for them. 

In the case of this reading activity, it is very visual as it comes with images for children to understand it better. In addition, it comes with activities to work on the reading once the children have read it and to make sure that they have understood it. It is also very useful to work on writing and speaking skills as well. 

Once they have read the text and done the activities, you can practice the vocabulary by showing them the images. The students will have to describe what they see in each picture. You can also divide the class in different small groups and ask them questions about the text. The group who answers first gets a point. 

I personally find this resource very useful and I hope it works for you too!

I'd like to share with you another resource that we can use with our primary school students. This one is called LIVEWORKSHEETS and here we can find a great variety of worksheets to practise writing, speaking, listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary...

You can use some activities already created or create your own ones. 

I personally use this webpage a lot in my classes and my students love these activities! I highly recommend it to you! 

In this case, I have chosen one example of a listening activity that I think your students may like. 

After doing the activity, students will sing the song alone. You can divide your class in different groups so that every group sings one part of the song. They will have so much fun!

TWINKLE

 Hi everyone! 

In this new post I'd like to tell you about TWINKLE. 

Twinkle is a website where we can find numerous resources for our classes. We can use existing templates or create new ones according to our interests and what we are looking for our students. 

By using this webpage we can work on many skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking... 

In this case I've decided to choose this activity to practise speaking and vocabulary, as I have found it very attractive for primary school students. 

In groups of 4 (depending on the size of the group) students will have to compete against each other by answering the questions on the cards. Once they have said 5 correct things, they will keep the card, and the student that has more cards wins.

Today I want to share with you a resource that I find very interesting. Most of you may already know it or have already used it, but just in case you want to know a bit more, this webpage is Kahoot. 

With this tool you can create fun games to practise different skills with your students in different ways. For example, you can create questions about true or false, quizzes, open questions...
